Angelo

Hi, my name is Angelo. I live in the woods near Spears Avenue in Asheville. I suppose that makes me a homeless cat, but that is the only life I have ever known. I have trained some humans to feed me three times a day and occasionally play with me. In September I went to the Humane Alliance and was neutered and given a rabies shot.

I love to be petted and play games, and I will often follow my human friends on walks whenever they go outside. I like to think of myself as a very social pers... err.. cat and very adaptable. I love humans and have been VERY close to at least one dog.

It is with great sadness that I tell you that our cat Angelo was killed April 8, 2001. He was run over in the road next to our house. Susan Grey and I are stricken with grief now but comforted by the thought that Angelo had a good life, albeit short, and he should not have suffered from the trauma.

So once again it is time to retreat and remember the blessing we had in the kind loving soul of another precious animal that has touched our lives.
